Nick, through Window's help, lands in Boston. He is there on the night that the Tea Party takes place. In a conversation between John Hancock and Abigail Adams, Nick learns why the original Tea Party was planned. Nick's face is painted to look like an American Indian and he dresses the part as well. Two famous people are introduced in this scene and are pointed out in the side bar. Side bar information is used through out the book to point out famous people,different ways that colonial people did things, and famous locations involved in the story.
